A semisynthetic echinocandin antifungal approved by the FDA in 2023, the first new candidemia/invasive candidiasis treatment in over a decade. Its long half-life, over 130 hours, allows once-weekly dosing instead of the daily treatment used by other echinocandins.

Inhibits 1,3-beta-D-glucan synthase, an enzyme Candida species need to build their cell wall.
