GHRP-2

0.1–0.3 mg, 1–3× daily

Synthetic hexapeptide from the 1990s that mimics ghrelin to stimulate growth hormone release, with possible effects on body composition, sleep, and cellular repair; works synergistically with GHRH analogs. Remains an unapproved research chemical.

Standard bacteriostatic water works fine. A few people prefer plain (non-bacteriostatic) saline because the benzyl alcohol in bac water can sting slightly. This is a soft preference: plain saline is fine for a vial used quickly; bac water gives the longer shelf life for a vial used over weeks.

  1. Use bacteriostatic water as the diluent.
  2. Add the water slowly, letting it run down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder.
  3. Swirl gently to mix, then leave it to dissolve. Do not shake.
  4. Give it a few minutes. The finished solution should be clear and colourless.

Protocol

Route: Subcutaneous

Standard protocol (subcutaneous)

  • 0.1 mg (100 mcg) per dose, one to three times daily, on an empty stomach (30 minutes before food)
  • A common simple approach is 0.1 mg (100 mcg) before bed, optionally adding a fasted morning dose

Best paired

  • Often combined with a GHRH like CJC-1295 (No DAC) for a bigger pulse than either alone
  • Run 8 to 12 weeks, then a break

Dosing detail

  • Common dose is 0.1 mg to 0.3 mg (100 to 300 mcg) per shot, one to three times daily.
  • Empty stomach, 30 minutes before eating.
  • Raises appetite (a ghrelin mimic), which some want and some do not.
  • A brief flush after injecting is common.

Duration

  • Run 8 to 12 weeks, then a break.

Notes

  • A ghrelin-mimic GH secretagogue. Tends to raise appetite.
  • Inject subcutaneously and rotate sites.
  • A brief flush after injecting is common.

Storage and handling

  • Keep the powdered (lyophilized) vial in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate it for longer-term storage before mixing.
  • Once reconstituted and refrigerated at 2–8 °C away from light, use the vial within 90 days.
  • Do not freeze a reconstituted vial, and keep it away from heat and sunlight.
  • If the solution turns cloudy, develops floating particles, or shows any other sign of degradation, stop using that vial.
