TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) (and its active fragment Ac-SDKP)
TB-500, Tβ4, T-beta-4, Ac-SDKP (active fragment)
A synthetic peptide fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, sold widely as a research chemical for injury recovery even though only the full-length protein has entered clinical trials for wound healing and cardiac repair. It promotes cell migration and blood-vessel growth but lacks formal human safety data and is banned in sports.
Research score 60/100. Reference only, not a dose.

Mechanism
Acts as a G-actin-sequestering protein regulating actin assembly and cell migration, raises VEGF and bFGF to spur blood-vessel growth and repair, and its active Ac-SDKP fragment blocks TGF-β signaling to limit heart fibrosis; also engages the ILK-PINCH-PARVA complex and PI3K/Akt pathway to protect heart cells under low-oxygen stress and aid stem-cell migration to injury sites.
Safety file
Full Thymosin Beta-4 is safe in trials, but this shorter form lacks human safety data; it is WADA-banned and carries a theoretical cancer risk.
