GLP-2 analog
GLP-2 analog studied for preventing chemotherapy-induced diarrhea by boosting intestinal lining growth. A Phase 2B trial in colorectal cancer patients showed lower diarrhea rates than placebo, but the difference wasn’t statistically significant; preclinical work showed protection against chemotherapy-related mucositis and diarrhea.
