Mechanism
Selectively agonizes the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R) in the pituitary, raising intracellular calcium to trigger GH release via MAPK and PI3K/Akt signaling, without stimulating cortisol, prolactin, or aldosterone, giving GH release patterns close to natural pulses.
