NAD+ and its precursors NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) & NR (Nicotinamide Riboside)
NAD+/NMN/NR complex, Coenzyme I, DPN, Diphosphopyridine nucleotide
NAD+ is a coenzyme central to energy metabolism that declines with age; NMN and NR are precursor supplements studied for restoring NAD+ levels, with proposed benefits for aging, metabolism, and neuroprotection.

Mechanism
NMN and NR convert to NAD+ through the NAMPT/NMNAT salvage pathway; higher NAD+ activates sirtuins (SIRT1/3) that govern gene expression, DNA repair, and mitochondrial efficiency, and fuels PARP-driven DNA repair.
