TB-500 Fragment (17-23) (Ac-SDKP)
Ac-SDKP, Goralatide, N-Acetyl-Ser-Asp-Lys-Pro, Thymosin beta-4 fragment 17-23
A synthetic fragment (amino acids 17-23) of Thymosin Beta-4, sold widely as a research chemical for injury recovery even though only the full-length protein has entered clinical trials for wound healing and heart repair. It promotes cell migration and blood-vessel growth but lacks formal human safety data and is banned in sports.
Research score 60/100. Reference only, not a dose.

Mechanism
The active fragment, Ac-SDKP, blocks TGF-β signaling in heart and kidney tissue by inhibiting Smad2/3 activation, reducing fibroblast-to-myofibroblast conversion and collagen buildup, while curbing inflammation via reduced macrophage infiltration and NF-κB signaling and supporting cell survival through PI3K/Akt.
Safety file
Full Thymosin Beta-4 is safe in trials, but this shorter fragment lacks human safety data; it is WADA-banned and carries a theoretical cancer risk.
