Mechanism
Its fatty-acid tail improves penetration, letting the peptide activate TGF-β/SMAD signaling that raises collagen and elastin genes while inhibiting matrix-degrading enzymes and promoting fibroblast survival via ERK1/2 and PI3K/Akt.
